Initiation Rituals

Initiation is a lifetime spiritual commitment to become a dedicated Sèvitè to serve the Lwas and to be the guardian of the sacred Knowledge of the Ancestors. To start the initiation the Vodouyizan  enters the Djèvò to learn the methods of the rituals and the secrets of the plants. After seven days of purification in the djèvò our initiates will become a Hunsi Kanzo, Mambo or a Hougan with the secret knowledge revealed by Loco and Ayizan to be at the sevice of the collective.
